There are hundreds of varieties of soybeans: yellow, red and black. Soy is originally from Asia and has been cultivated in China for many centuries, but today the U.S., Brazil and Argentina are the largest producers. Soy contains high-quality protein, rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids and is naturally lactose-free. Soybean oil (18%) and soybean flour (80%) is what remains after extraction.

IP DEGUMMED SOYA BEAN
This unmodified refined oil from soybeans (which is removed from the solid parts), is a key ingredient in the production of cooking oil, margarine and salad oil. Soybean oil is the most consumed vegetable oil in the world. It is also a raw material for animal feed.
SOY FLOUR
Most of the world’s soy beans production (as soybean flour) is used in animal feed. It is a fat-free protein product and with highest-quality raw materials for the feed industry. This is due to the high content of proteins and amino acids.
SOY FATTY
Soybean oil is a rich source of essential fatty acids, of which about 7% alpha-linoleic acid, 51% linoleic acid and 23% oleic acid. These fatty acids are unsaturated. In addition, soybean oil also contains saturated fatty acids.
SOY PROTEIN
Soybeans have a high level of protein content. Om average 38% is of high quality protein in which essential amino acids are also present. These amino acids – they are eight – cannot be produced by the body and thus ingested via food. Soy proteins are also a good substitute for animal protein.
SOY LECITHIN
Lecithin is the collective name for the fatty components (phospholipids) that occur during the extraction of oil from soybeans. It is obtained by adding water to the crude oil which is squeezed out of the soybeans. The phospholipids gather around the water and sink to the bottom (water is heavier than oil. Then they are separated from the oil and filtered (to remove insoluble residues such as seed remains) and dried. What remains is lecithin which is often added as an emulsifier in food.
SOY CONCENTRATE
When soy protein is concentrated, a protein content of at least 60% is created. This is then a good substitute for animal protein and can be added as a supplement in animal feed.
