(NATURAL) DYES
Annato is a dye extracted from the seeds of the fruit of the Orlean tree, which grows in tropical South America. Depending on the intensity desired the dye has a deep yellow to red coloration in foods. This substance which is mainly supplied from Peru is used for the coloring of cheeses such as American cheddar.

FLAVOURS AND FRAGRANCES
In order to provide taste to foods F & F are indispensable nutrients. Often these are essential oils or synthetically produced materials. Virtually all foods are flavor enriched (i.e. chicken flavoring in soups and broths)
